Bristol, England
An evening in Bristol, England. This photo was taken at the city square on August 15, 2009. Capturing the lights was accomplished with a long time-exposure; the shutter remained open for about 45 seconds. Notice the streak of white light on the right-center of the photograph, the light is from the window of a double-decker bus. I enjoyed my stay in Bristol and I’m looking forward to visiting again soon. I will post more photos during the next few days.

Fort Churchill, Nevada State Park
Located 8 miles south of Silver Springs in the Nevada desert is a place called Fort Churchill State Park. This U.S. army fort was built in 1861 for the early settlers, and it guarded the Pony Express run and other mail routes. The fort was abandoned 9 years later.
