Burnham-on-Sea - Leaning Church
This 24 metre, 14th century tower of St Andrew’s Church located in Burnham-on-Sea (Somerset, England) is leaning by almost 1 metre, or 2.4 degrees. The movement occurred soon after the tower was erected. By comparison, the Tower of Pisa leans more than 5 metres.
In front of the church is the Burnham-on-Sea coast as seen above. Legend has it that the boy Jesus visited Glastonbury with Joseph of Aramathea and they landed here.
