Winnie the Pooh Bridge

Pooh Bridge

Alan Alexander Milne was a successful playwright who wrote the Winnie-the-Pooh stories. The stories were inspired by his walks through Posingford Wood and the Ashdown Forest in England with his only son Christopher Robin. Pooh Bridge is a place you can visit; see the photograph above and a map below, “X” marks the Pooh Bridge car park (Sat-Nav: 51.078, 0.099). From the car park it’s about a 20-minute walk to the bridge; there are signs that lead the way.
