The Cove (Taiji, Japan)
This morning I received an e-mail from the NRDC. The subject of the e-mail: “Tell President Obama to help end whale and dolphin killings in Japan (and go see a movie!)” The movie is called “The Cove”. Check-out the trailer for the film: The Cove. Even though the International Whaling Commission banned whaling in 1986, Japan continues to kill almost 1,000 whales each year under the guise of “scientific research” as well as an additional 23,000 dolphins and porpoises. There’s a lot you can do to help. The Save Japan Dolphins website is a good starting point.
